Granting Guidelines
The following guidelines determine who is eligible to receive Creative Kids Funding:
- Applicants must be minimum of 4 years old and a maximum of 19 years old at the time of application
- Maximum funding up to $750 per calendar year per child
- Applicants may apply for funding more than once in a calendar year
- Applicants must be endorsed by a third party adult who is not a relative and is able to verify the financial need of the applicant
- Applications must be received a minimum of 30 days before the start date of the activity/program AND meet the local or provincial committee deadlines
- Applications must include a description of the creative, artistic or cultural elements of the activity/program
- Funds will be dispersed directly to the organization or instructor providing the program or activity
- Eligible costs include: participation/registration fees, equipment, supplies, festival costs, etc.
- Priority funding may be given to payment of registration fees.
